Hi! I am Crystal

Happy Greetings! I’m Crystal Forman. I am the Owner/Director of Holistic Wellness and Health. I am a passionate health, fitness and wellness educator with over 20 years of experience in health education and wellness. Using a plant-based approach, I focus on disease prevention education, and health & wellness outreach programs.

I look at the whole picture including what did and did not work for you in the past, what’s going on with you in the present and where you want to be in the future.

My whole person approach focuses on mind, body and spirit and integrates health, fitness and wellness to improve the quality of life for all. I offer health & wellness coaching, healthy plant-based cooking classes, plant-based cooking demonstrations, wellness seminars, grocery store tours, meal suggestions, and meditation. I also work to improve food justice and sustainable food access. I am an avid forager, gardener and volunteer farmer. I love teaching foraging, wild food cooking and farm to plate activities.

In addition to my public health and health administration degrees, I am a certified health coach (CHC), a certified Permaculture designer and a certified Baltimore City Master Gardener.

Crystal’s detox program is a great way to give your digestive system a break from processed foods, sugar, and carbs.  The suggested recipes show a lot of variety, good quality, and are quite tasty.

I was not hungry on the detox, because I was able to eat as much of the suggested foods until I was full.  The detox helped me get clearer on which foods help me feel good and which ones don’t.

Also, Crystal is available for questions and assistance on a daily basis, so no need to worry about doing it “wrong” or having no one to talk to if you get stuck.  I’d highly recommend working with her if you are considering giving your body an internal cleanse.
